Doctor Walden is very devoted to helping others and is even more devoted to her family. She has volunteered to do medical work for charities like Austin Smiles. She is also an active supporter of the Junior League of Austin’s Food in Tummy Program a charity that provides meals on the weekends for children that get free or reduced school meals. As a key sponsor and donor, she goes to schools personally to help with this charity. She has also worked with the Go Red For Women charity for the American Heart Association and, while in New York, she was a member of the Board of Directors for Weston United Community Renewal, a charity that gave homeless and mentally ill people a place to live and get back on their feet. She is also very devoted to her family. She relocated her busy New York City practice from New York to Austin, Texas so her son’s Houston and Rex could grow up near their family. A lot more could be said about Dr. Walden and all that she has done career wise, things she has written, how well she did in college, her fellowships, and residencies, how much she likes to do charity work, and how much she cares about her family. I am sure with as much as she has done and will continue to do help others and take care of her family, a book could be written about her. For this and many other reasons, is why I say she is way more than a just a wonderful plastic surgeon.
