AXA Advisors is Known Worldwide for its Industry Efforts, as well as its Philanthropy

AXA Advisors is an insurance company with multi-national influence with its headquarters in Paris, France. The company was originally founded in the early 1800’s under the name Mutuelle de L’assurance contre, but changed its name several times to reflect acquisitions and mergers until 1985 when it adopted the name AXA. The name AXA was chosen as it is easy to pronounce no matter what language is spoken.

AXA operates worldwide and has an American operation and market. The American entity of AXA Advisors is known as AXA Financial, Inc and recognized through its subsidiaries including AXA Network, AXA Equitable Life Insurance and AXA Advisors, LLC.

AXA is also philanthropic in nature and in 2008 created the AXA Research Fund. The fund was endowed with €100 and provides support for research that focuses on understanding and the prevention of risks that have become threatening to society, human life and the environment. The fund has awarded more than 10 endowments for more than two million Euros that support research institutions that have reached a level that is considered excellent.

Vincent Parascandola is the Senior Executive Vice President of AXA Advisors, LLC. With more than 25 years of industry experience, Mr. Parascandola’s responsibilities include the recruitment, retention and productivity development and training of new and experienced financial professionals, and sales and management development. Mr. Parascandola began his illustrious career in 1987 with Prudential as an agent and was named “National Rookie of the Year. He then moved onto MONY Life Insurance Company in 1990 and took on a variety of regional, as well as local field management positions. In 2004, Mr. Parascandola joined AXA Advisors.

Mr. Parascandola’s educational background includes earning a Bachelor of Science degree (BS) from Pace University in New York. In 2014, he was honored by the school when he was invited to give the commencement speech.
