Leaving Behind a Legacy

In 2015, Jason was Principal on the top off of the Aloft Hotel in South Beach, Florida. This was a significant undertaking to make changes to the relatively newly constructed Aloft South Beach hotel. The project made use of the existing location and infrastructure of the Motel Ankara, that has local historical significance. The rooms were set to be made larger and an eight-story tower was also constructed. The hotel now offers live music, 24-hour fitness facilities and a large meeting space that caters to business events and social events alike. This project allowed for Jason Halpern to leave his mark on South Beach for years to come, and it was sold for $105 million in 2016. It is now called The Gates. Jason has also left his mark on 184 Kent in Brooklyn. This project transformed an aging warehouse in a highly sought-after location into in-demand luxury apartments featuring 340 units.
